ULT 380

Construction

The ULT tenders were designed by Ocean 5 Naval Architects and are currently available in two different sizes.

The ULT 380, extending to 12.5 ft., shares the same commitment to load-carrying capabilities, stability, and efficient operation. With a construction mirroring the ULT 300, this larger model boasts a high-performance gel coat exterior, advanced woven composites, and structural foam coring. The vacuum resin infusion process with vinyl ester resins ensures durability and prevents osmosis and blistering. Reinforced hardware points further solidify its robust build.

Standard Features

The ULT 380, like its counterpart, features a fine entry, multiple chines, and a large delta plane for stability and planning ease. Stainless steel tie-downs, lifting eyes, and a custom EPDM extruded rub rail offer premium protection to the mother ship. Bench seats on seat rails, recessed deck cleats, Texiline storage bags, and fuel lines to the cuddy ensure adaptability and convenience. A collapsible paddle completes the package.

ULT Tenders vs. Inflatables

In comparing ULT Tenders to inflatables, the advantages of rigid boats become evident. With a longer lifespan, resistance to leaks, and enhanced efficiency due to better running surfaces, ULT Tenders outshine inflatables. Their design aligns with the dimensions of comparable inflatable tenders, providing a superior alternative for durability and performance.

The ULT 380, in particular, effortlessly planes with a 700 lb. payload and a 20 HP motor, showcasing its remarkable capabilities. Ultra Lite Tenders is a clear choice for a more stable ride, durable exterior and better fuel efficiency.
