ULT 300

Construction

The ULT tenders were designed by Ocean 5 Naval Architects and are currently available in two different sizes.

The ULT 300, measuring 10 ft., exemplifies rigidity, lightness, and efficiency in yacht tenders. Crafted with a high-performance gel coat exterior, advanced woven composites (Kevlar and E glass), and structural foam coring, this rigid boat is manufactured using a vacuum resin infusion process with vinyl ester resins. The result is a boat that prevents osmosis and blistering while ensuring optimal strength and lightness. All hardware points are meticulously reinforced.

Standard Features

The ULT 300 is equipped with a fine entry, multiple chines for stability, and a large delta plane for an easy surface ride. Stainless steel tie-downs, lifting eyes, and a custom EPDM extruded rub rail provide maximum protection to the mother ship. Bench seats on seat rails allow repositioning or removal for specialized tasks. Recessed deck cleats, Texiline storage bags with bungeed handles, and fuel lines to the cuddy for a forward fuel tank contribute to the overall convenience. Each boat comes complete with a collapsible paddle.

ULT Tenders vs. Inflatables

In comparing ULT Tenders to inflatables, the advantages of rigid boats become evident. With a longer lifespan, resistance to leaks, and enhanced efficiency due to better running surfaces, ULT Tenders outshine inflatables. Their design aligns with the dimensions of comparable inflatable tenders, providing a superior alternative for durability and performance.

The ULT 300 planes easily with a 300 lb payload and a 9.8 hp carburated Tohatsu motor.
